Associate Clinician
OLFT is looking for Associate Clinicians who resonate with our attachment-based, family-centered, trauma-informed, relationship-focused perspective. We are seeking creative, talented associates who are open to learning in a nurturing, encouraging, collaborative, and challenging environment.
Associate Clinician Requirements:
Master’s degree in counseling psychology or related discipline.
Current CA Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) registration (with no restrictions).
Associate Clinician Functions:
A gradual increase to a Case Load of 20-30 patients.
Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.
Assess patients and diagnose mental health disorders.
Collaborate with patient to create a treatment plan based on the needs of the individual.
Monitor progress and update treatment plan as needed.
Involve and advise family members when appropriate.
Collaborate with other team members and community partners when appropriate.
Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, couples, and families.
Provide outside resources and referrals when necessary.
Complete thorough clinical documentation on the day of treatment.
Attend adequate Clinical Supervision.
Attend weekly staff meetings.
Contribute articles or videos to be posted on the OLFT website or other marketing.
Compensation & Benefits:
$26-32/ clinical hour, depending on current experience
Additional hourly pay available for bilingual status and/or EFT, EMDR, or other specialties (at discretion of Clinical Director)
$15.50/ admin hour for documentation, supervision, meetings, training
