Stephanie Deana Va is a compassionate Associate Clinical Social Worker who brings a thoughtful, strengths-based approach to her work with individuals of all ages. She enjoys working with adults navigating a variety of life challenges, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Stephanie creates a warm and supportive space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to grow.

In addition to her work with adults, Stephanie is passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they explore their identities, navigate changing relationships, and prepare for the future. She provides a safe environment where young people can build confidence, develop coping strategies, and strengthen their sense of self as they move toward adulthood.

Stephanie also has a natural ability to connect with children and help them identify, understand, and express their emotions in healthy ways. Through play, creative expression, and developmentally appropriate techniques, she supports children in building emotional awareness, communication skills, and resilience. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, mindfulness-focused, and rooted in clients' inherent strengths.

She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Fresno State. Her background includes a blend of clinical experience and specialized training in suicide prevention, mandated reporting, sexual harassment prevention, and promoting healthy relationships in youth. She is guided by the belief that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships and that growth is possible for everyone.

Stephanie is inspired by the words of Mary Rose McGeady:
“There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life.”
