She focuses on instilling hope and utilizing the therapeutic relationship as an agent for change. Mallory is passionate about providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment for people to process their life circumstances.
By guiding her patients towards identifying and processing their underlying emotions, Mallory hopes to promote healing, growth and sharing of vulnerabilities. She feels great joy when her patients feel equipped to work through their painful emotions so that their functioning is no longer negatively impacted.
Mallory has experience in providing treatment for adults, families, early and late adolescents, and groups. Her experience ranges from working with depression, anxiety disorders, anger management, and Bipolar Type II Disorder.
One of her favorite quotes about what she does comes from Marcel Proust, and it says, “We are healed of a suffering only by experiencing it to the full.”
